Established in 2005, our old age home was founded with the pure, unwavering intention of providing shelter, compassionate care, and spiritual support to senior citizens.
Since our humble beginnings in 2005, the Trust has overcome many challenges, made steady progress, and expanded its services in response to the growing needs of senior citizens.
Observing that the number of needy senior citizens in our community is increasing day by day, the Trust has taken steps toward its next major service initiative: expanding the Ashram and constructing new facilities.
About Sant Baba Moni Saheb Vriddh Anand Ashram
Sant Baba Moni Saheb Vriddh Anand Ashram in Akurdi is a Vriddha Ashram serving elderly people and also a place of Langar Seva. The Ashram operates every day and provides food to people who come to its door, while caring for elderly residents.
Food is prepared at the Ashram twice a day to support the meals served during the day. In addition to food prepared at the Ashram, some food is received through larger Langars and food donations.
The Ashram's work depends on continued support, service and participation from people who wish to help.
Langar Seva
Langar is an important part of the Ashram's daily service. Food is cooked at the Ashram twice a day, helping provide the day's meals. People who come to the Ashram are welcomed for food, not only the elderly residents.
The food service is also supported by contributions of prepared food from larger Langars and by food donations. This shared effort helps the Ashram continue its daily service.
Personalized Bedside Support
Specialized mobility assistance and comfort adjustments are provided daily to help elders resting in beds.
Regular Medical Checkups
Visiting expert physicians conduct thorough physical evaluations using proper clinical tools.
Dedicated Critical Care
We practice strict safety protocols while delivering intensive care to completely dependent elders.
